Partners & Resources
WIRE's research is made possible by institutional partnerships and shared data infrastructure at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Center for Advancing Population Science (CAPS)
Much of WIRE's biostatistical support — particularly for large target trial emulations and complex observational analyses — is provided by the expert biostatisticians at the Center for Advancing Population Science (CAPS) at MCW. CAPS brings deep expertise in population-level research design, causal inference methods, and advanced statistical modeling, enabling WIRE to pursue methodologically ambitious studies with the analytic rigor they demand.

CTSI SE Wisconsin — Center for Biomedical Informatics (CRDW)
WIRE leverages multiple Clinical Research Data Warehouse (CRDW) resources to support our research, including TriNetX (individual patient-level data), i2b2, and ENACT. These platforms enable large-scale cohort identification, feasibility assessments, and real-world data analyses that are foundational to our observational and implementation research. All CRDW resources are supported by the Medical College of Wisconsin CTSA Grant UL1TR001436.

REDCap (through CTSI SE Wisconsin)
REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture) is WIRE's primary platform for clinical trial data collection and management. Hosted through CTSI SE Wisconsin, REDCap provides secure, HIPAA-compliant electronic case report forms (eCRFs), randomization modules, and data validation tools that support the full lifecycle of our clinical studies — from prospective registries to multicenter randomized trials.

Florence eBinders
Florence eBinders is WIRE's electronic regulatory binder platform for clinical trial document management. Florence provides a centralized, 21 CFR Part 11-compliant system for organizing, storing, and sharing essential regulatory documents — including IRB approvals, informed consent forms, delegation logs, and monitoring visit records — streamlining trial oversight and ensuring audit-readiness across all of our studies.
